From the early morning makeup session, to the last guests tearing up your dance floor, we’re riding the roller-coaster with you, and capturing all the action. I invest in a relationship with my clients so that my presence on your wedding day is comfortable, welcome and known.

I only take on a limited number of weddings every year because client interaction & experience is such an important part of the equation for me.
I view it as a privilege to be invited into the intimate, emotional, joy-filled and sometimes crazy moments that make up someone’s life - especially their wedding day. I try to approach every interaction with my clients and their guests from that place of respect and reverence. I’m highly sensitive to the needs and the comfort level of the couples I work with - carefully gauging and capturing the crucial moments of the day without interfering or orchestrating artificial set-ups.
A good photographer understands that you’re not a professional model, you’re surrounded by dozens of people you haven’t seen in years, and that you’re about to make the biggest promise of your life. Clients always comment with gratitude on my flexibility and skill in making them feel comfortable in front of my camera lens.

THE PROCESS

I typically start out having a phone call or video chat with interested couples. I’ll ask you about yourselves and your love story - where did you meet, what do you like to do together, what do you envision for your wedding day? If we feel like I’m a good fit for your wedding photographer, I’ll send you a custom made quote or online proposal for your wedding day. I pride myself on quick response times and I’m always happy to answer any questions!
I require a booking fee of $2000 which can be paid via check or bank transfer.

Most couples reach out via email 3 - 9 months before the wedding to plan for engagement photos. This is a fun time for you and your fiancé to get dressed up, get romantic, and get comfortable in front of the camera. I'll email you my engagement session guide to help you prepare and answer any questions you might have. You'll get your edited photo files in a downloadable gallery within 2 weeks of your session, ready to be used in your save the dates, wedding website, or just to be printed for your grandma's fridge.

6-8 weeks before your wedding date, you’ll receive an email questionnaire so I can get a better sense of the specifics of your family, venues, and the sort of photos you want taken. We’ll reconnect again via phone or Skype and talk details! We’ll hash out your timeline and I’ll make sure I’m aware of any special situations among your family or friends. I can give as much or little input into the planning of your wedding day timeline as you like - I’m happy to give advice and pointers. I’ll get a sense of any special details you’re especially wanting me to capture and double check addresses and contact information for your big day.

You have the best. day. ever. I’m there on time, dressed professionally, armed with all the resources to capture your wedding day.
6 - 9 weeks after your wedding - You’ll receive an online, downloadable, password-protected gallery of your individually edited wedding photos. Have the Kleenex ready.
If you’ve ordered an album - I’ll reach out with your album options and let you know how to indicate your photo choices within your online gallery. Once you’ve selected your photos, I’ll email you proofs of your album “spreads” so you can approve the layout before your album goes to print. 3 - 4 weeks after you’ve approved your spreads, your album arrives in the mail at your front door, ready to be displayed on your coffee table!

Film is a slower, physically tangible, and deliberately imperfect artistic medium which can provide a valuable contrast to the crisp detail of digital images. This combination richly enhances the look and narrative of your overall wedding gallery. By weaving together film and digital formats, we can create a final wedding collection that feels timeless, inherently nostalgic, and completely unique to you.

Throughout my career, I’ve traveled God’s green earth to photograph couples in love. I've photographed faces in rural Arkansas, kept it weird in Portland, swooned over sunsets in Florida, shot on moving subways in NYC and more. However, to best serve my existing clients (and my growing family) I’ll be restricting most travel for the 2025-2026 wedding season, focusing on weddings within the greater Philadelphia area.
Wedding Day travel is included within 50 miles of Collegeville, PA (my hometown!) Travel fees may apply for portrait or engagement sessions more than 25 miles away. I offer flat travel rates for destinations like NYC, Baltimore, Stamford, and more. For wedding day destinations more than 200 miles away, I work with couples on an individual basis and make travel arrangements based on their unique circumstances.

Because my travel radius is so wide, I shoot weddings all over the East Coast, (and in other parts of the country!) I only have a short list of "repeat" venues I work at, for roughly 90% of the weddings I shoot, it's my first time at the location. A professional photographer knows how to manage a wide variety of lighting, weather, and environmental scenarios to produce beautiful, consistent images every time. From dark churches, to thunderstorms, to bright sunny beach weddings - I show up for every wedding day ready to adjust and take the best set of photos possible.

I love to see what photos specifically inspire my clients - and I’ll always do my best to incorporate suggested poses, locations or backdrops. However! Your wedding day will be a wholly unique event that’s going to offer lots of opportunity to create something completely original together. To create the best photos possible, I ask my couples to trust me in suggesting photo ops based on the unique combination of people, places, weather, lighting, and timing present on their day.
