Philadelphia Christmas Market Portrait Session | Melanie + Alexandre

Before we confirmed Mel and Alex’s anniversary portrait shoot, I wanted to be sure: “You guys think you’ll be okay shooting outdoors in December, right? You won’t be too cold?” Melanie replied, “Don’t worry, we’re from Canada. It already hit -4 degrees back home...” We lucked out (for my sake!) with a 40 degree day! Mel and Alex got married last December in Canada, and wanted photos in their adopted city to celebrate their one year anniversary! We spent the afternoon hitting some Philly highlights, with a view of City Hall from Broad Street, before walking over the Christmas Market at LOVE Park, and making our way to the steps of the Philadelphia Museum of Art for a glowing view of the skyline at Sunset. We had a blast talking about their first year of marriage, their adventures in America, and their studies. You can look for yourself, but I think they brought the heat to a chilly day!
